Our story

Why we built the NEST

Zappeiou NEST was created with one simple idea: student accommodation should feel like home.

Instead of simply renting a room, we wanted to create a comfortable, modern and welcoming place where students can study, relax, make friends and feel at home while living in Nicosia.

The apartment was fully renovated for exactly this purpose — a ground-floor home with four large bedrooms and five bathrooms, so each student has her own room, her own en-suite and her own door key, and there is still a guest WC for visitors.

The furniture is all new. The kitchen is large and fully equipped, the living areas are made for sitting in rather than passing through, and the running costs are already inside the rent, so nobody spends the year chasing bills.

Why you'll love living here

For parents

A place parents can feel good about

If your daughter is moving to Nicosia to study, here is what the home actually offers.

  • A fully renovated home with brand-new furniture, not a converted old flat
  • A private bedroom for each student, with an individual door lock
  • A private en-suite bathroom for every bedroom, plus a separate guest WC
  • Shared by four female students only
  • Internet, water, electricity, common expenses and rubbish inside the rent, with the limits written out in full
  • The shared areas cleaned once a month
  • A short walk from Frederick University, with shops and buses nearby
  • Direct, easy communication with the owner — by phone, WhatsApp or video call
The apartment

What’s in the home

Four large bedrooms and five bathrooms across a fully renovated ground-floor apartment. Everything is new, and everything is shared by four people — not fourteen.
